LOS ANGELES, Nov. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Ride-On Tire Protection Systems are gaining ground in one of Asia's most vibrant and innovation-friendly economies. South Korea, also known as the Republic of Korea, is a nation on the move - and that means it has its share of enthusiastic drivers and motorcyclists. Ride-On's innovative LED Smart Cap Tire Pressure Monitor (TPMS), which alerts motorcyclists, drivers, and scooter riders to low tire pressure, is drawing the attention of Korea's national police department.

Having already installed Ride-On in over 200 police vehicles with plans to implement Ride-On TPS into their entire fleet in 2013, it makes sense the Korean police are drawn to this new exciting technology. The nation's widely read newspaper, Chosun Ilbo, has already singled-out Ride-On as part of the James Bond-esque level of sophistication and features of the cars driven by Seoul's famed police. The paper's writers, never shy about expressing excitement, have described police car tires as being impervious to puncs (the Korean word for "punctures").

It is not only the National Police taking notice of Ride-On in Korea.

Harley-Davidson of Korea has agreed to take Ride-On on in all five of their stores. Considered by most as the premier motorcycle brand in Korea, the product is sure to spread like wildfire.

Ride-On has also designed a new product called Spare Change. Spare Change is a mobility kit that can replace the need for a spare tire, thus reducing car weight, expanding trunk space, and improving MPG. In fact, many car manufacturers are supplying these kits as OEM items, instead of spare tires, to help meet the new MPG standards that are popping up around the world. The kit is replete with a compressor and a Ride-On after-the-fact tire sealant designed using the same proprietary technology that Ride-On has developed over the last seventeen years as the leader in preventative sealants. This 100% biodegradable, non-toxic, non-hazardous sealant is not latex based (industry standard but virtually ruins tires) and has caught the eye of such car manufacturers as Hyundai.

Long a favorite among world travelers, South Korea is regarded as one of the rapidly expanding Asian Tiger economies. Specifically, its growth is tied directly to its increased success as an exporter of a wide range of products.

From some of the world's most popular automotives and two wheel vehicles to some of some of some of the most popular mass entertainment and electronics in the world, South Korea is in the economic forefront. In this increasingly prosperous and diverse nation, Ride-On continues to make major inroads both in the public sector and with consumers.

Ride-On's tire sealants and balancers are gel-like compounds that contain fibers six times stronger than steel. People generally associate sealants with only preventing or fixing flat tires. However, both automotive experts and industry observers laud Ride-On for not only extending tire life, but also for increasing fuel efficiency and reducing road vibrations. Environmentally aware consumers both here and in Korea have also praised Ride-On's balancing properties. By balancing tires without the need for lead weights that tend to fall off and contaminate the environment, Ride-On also lowers lead pollution.

Now, Ride-On's high tech tire sealant has a match with the company's innovative TPMS system that warns motorcyclists and drivers when a tire is losing air. To be specific, the Light Vehicle TPMS Smart Cap sensor used on motorcycles, scooter, and lighter automobiles alerts riders with a red flashing light whenever tire pressure dips below 4 psi of its set pressure point. As is the nature of all Ride-On brand products, the Smart Caps are both affordable and extremely effective at solving potentially serious problems.

Ride-On is the innovative leader in the area of tire protection. In the United States, large commercial fleets as well as military and police departments have depended on Ride-On for years. It's no wonder that the increasingly economically and culturally dynamic Republic of Korea is also taking to Ride-On products.
